Jess Koch is a fiction writer born and raised in a fishing community on Sebascodegan Island in Maine. She writes speculative fiction and horror but also experiments with cross-genre work, poetry, and literary fiction.
Her work has been published in Weird Horror, Bourbon Penn, the Bram Stoker Award-nominated Chromophobia, and many others. She holds an MFA from the Stonecoast Writers’ Program where she concentrated in popular fiction.
During the daylight hours, Jess is a lead software engineer working in veterinary diagnostics. She now lives in a pre-civil war house somewhere in New England with her partner, dog, and probably a few ghosts.
